From 4th to 8th October 2025, our specialists had the honor of participating in the EANM 2025 Annual Congress in Barcelona. This is one of the world’s leading scientific events dedicated to diagnostics and therapy using radioactive isotopes, PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging, as well as advanced theranostics. Attending the congress is not only a matter of prestige for us but, above all, an investment in expanding our knowledge and enhancing the quality of patient care.
The largest scientific event in the field of nuclear medicine
The EANM Congress (European Association of Nuclear Medicine) annually brings together several thousand physicians, medical physicists, technologists, researchers, and industry representatives from around the world. This year’s edition focused on the theme “Molecular Imaging and Theranostics: From Research to Clinical Reality,” highlighting the importance of integrating science, technology, and clinical practice.
The program included numerous plenary sessions, satellite symposia, panel discussions, and sessions dedicated to the latest trends in molecular imaging and targeted therapy. Thematic tracks on oncology, nuclear cardiology, neurology, and theranostic technologies which combine PET diagnostics with radioisotope therapy attracted significant interest.
New directions in PET diagnostics and therapy
During the congress, our specialists had the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops on the latest advances in new PET radiotracers, the development of detection technologies, artificial intelligence in image analysis, and the personalization of isotope therapy.
A particularly important focus was theranostics an approach that combines molecular diagnostics with targeted treatment, enabling precise tailoring of therapy to the individual patient. This is a direction that is becoming increasingly central in our own department as well.
Knowledge that comes back to our patients
Participation in EANM 2025 allowed our specialists not only to expand their knowledge but also to establish connections with leading research and clinical centers across Europe. The exchange of experiences with experts from Germany, France, Italy, and Scandinavia generated ideas for implementing new solutions in PET/CT oncological diagnostics and improving the efficiency of hybrid imaging studies.
We believe that investing in the development of our specialists directly translates into high-quality diagnostics and the safety of the patients who rely on our services in Białystok.
Focus: Development and Innovation
Participation in the EANM 2025 Congress reinforces our consistent development strategy and commitment to implementing global standards in nuclear medicine. As a team, we are constantly seeking innovations that enable us to provide patients with access to the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
Our goal remains unchanged to combine science, technology, and empathy to deliver comprehensive and state of the art care in PET diagnostics.
